We strive to turbocharge one of the world’s largest Ads Ranking engine through State-of-the-Art NLP models and scalable, real-time ML architecture. We are pursuing better model generalization by incorporating world knowledge, transfer learning and pre-trained embeddings. We leverage LLMs, multi-modal (text, image, video) NLP techniques for representation across users and ads as well as establish cross-domain relevance to personalize ads experience.The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on a range of recommendation, and language-based ML problems. You will bring the ability to own the whole ML life cycle, define org-level strategic roadmap and drive excellence across teams. You will work alongside the world’s leading engineers and researchers to solve some of the most exciting and massive social data and prediction problems that exist on the web.Required Skills: Software Engineer, Language Responsibilities:

Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent systems that improve Meta products and experiences

Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms and advanced systems for large scale applications

Define use cases and develop methodology and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches

Leading large initiatives and cross-functional teams to help them unblock, advocating for ML excellence

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas: NLP, ASR, TTS, Conversational AI, Dialogue, Machine Learning or artificial intelligence

Experience developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in Python

Experience with distributed systems

Exposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applications
