Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.ResponsibilitiesAs a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care of all age groups by performing ultrasound exams and procedures, as well as special procedures. You will operate different diagnostic ultrasound equipment following the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) standards and department protocols.Besides performing ultrasound procedures, you will also be responsible for general office duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies. Additionally, you will take part in the formal training of ultrasound interns, sharing your knowledge and expertise with people starting in the field. If you are a skilled Sonographer with a passion for excellence and a commitment to ongoing learning, we would like to hear from you.QualificationsEducation/Work Experience:Associates degree from an accredited training program in General diagnostic sonography, and recent completion of a twelve-month internship in diagnostic ultrasound (with at least six months in General ultrasound) or equivalent recent directly-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.Licensure/Certification:Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); orCertification in Sonography by the American Association of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.Pay Range$41.48 - $62.22 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
