We offer a contemporary restaurant in a small community that prides itself on a seasonal menu that changes monthly. We work closely with our local farmers to create a menu around what is currently available and fresh. Our menu is filled with vibrant fruits, vegetables, foraged items, local meats and cheeses and designed to be shared.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way for our guests that meets our quality standards

Prepare menu items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes

Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation

Requirements

Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

Emphasis on accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

Strong problem solving skills and adaptability in the moment.

5+ years culinary management experience preferable
