In this role, the SLP will support a caseload of K-5th grade students between two Elementary Schools. This role begins in February 2024 - through the end of the school year in June. Job Responsibilities:
Full-time, Monday-Friday.
Provide therapy and support services to K-5th grade students between two Elementary Schools.
SLP will have their own office space, but they may need to be flexible at times to share space.
Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with a variety of needs (Speech Only, Resource, etc.)
Utilize Embrace.
Work alongside and collaborate with other Speech-Language Pathologists and other Related Service staff in both school buildings.
Attend IEP and team meetings.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with staff, parents, and students.
Develop, follow, and assess students regarding their Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
Provide and document direct/consult therapy minutes as required on each student’s IEP.
Maintain appropriate records relating to student files and goal tracking.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree required. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!
Current and Active Washington DOH SLP License / ESA Certificate
School experience is preferred
