As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for guiding and executing complex systems engineering projects in the aerospace industry. You will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative solutions that enhance aircraft performance, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise in systems engineering, technical guidance, and collaboration will be instrumental in driving the future of aerospace technology.You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location.Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.The annual base salary range for this position is $136 - $150. Perform numeric evaluation of product design, integration, and qualification activities for new inertial navigation products for internal R&D and customer funded programs
Evaluate sensor & system performance – ex: reading and understanding Root Alan Variance (RAV)
Lead trade studies and issue resolution (e.g. FMEA, RCCA) activities
Prepare, review, approve, and present technical documentation and deliverables to internal and external customers
Function as a technical focal with internal customers supporting new product development and communicating technical status
Execute in a cross-functional team setting (interfacing with mechanical, electrical, software, test, etc.)
Manage internal stakeholders and their needs
Lead system design team meetings (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers
Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility assessment, technical solution development
Create system documents development, including but not limited to system-level requirements, Interface Control Document, Hardware Requirements Specification, Performance Verification Test Plan Procedure, Certification documents

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
7+ years of experience in a related field
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Excellent communication and guidance skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
