You will play a leadership role in our team – the team will look to you for advice on analytical and business problems. You will work closely with customers, product managers, and engineers to drive automated analytics, reporting and decision making. You are analytical and creative and you don’t quit.Key job responsibilities Analyze data to find actionable insights that lead to business insights and opportunities. Build dashboards and custom reports to track performance and investigate key business questions. Engage with diversified customer groups to understand their needs and deliver business intelligence solutions. Partner with Data engineers to define the data elements that the team should leverage to enable capabilities. Recommend new metrics, techniques and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, validation, and documentation.A day in the life Empathize with the customer and understand their problems and needs. Dive deep to find the root cause of the problem and suggest solutions (short/mid/long term). Perform benefits and tradeoff assessment to assess the best solution considering the timeline and available resources. Collaborate with the tech team and bring the solutions to life (build world class products). Participate in the tech discussion and ensure that the product is scalable and sustainable. Connect with the customer throughout the product lifecycle and ensure we exceed their expectation.About the teamHighly cross functional team that has product managers, business intelligence and full stack engineers who collectively collaborate to solve the problems faced by customers. We thrive by brainstorming and bouncing off solutions that transform the lives of our customers.Basic Qualifications

10+ years of professional or military experience

5+ years of SQL experience

Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

Experience with AWS technologies

Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.

Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market.
