The AWS Developer Marketing Team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Sr. Content Strategy Manager to change the way developers learn, experiment, and seek guidance on how to leverage AWS services.You will have the opportunity to define the strategy and create content for developers, systems engineers, cloud architects, and infrastructure engineers to assist them in getting started and leveraging AWS services. You will be responsible for defining the strategy for our developer focused web properties aimed at educating developers and building community.Ideally, you are someone that has experience building content strategies that foster deep, meaningful adoption of technology. You have an innate understanding for developers and how they make decisions to use technology. You are knowledgeable about current state-of-the-art cloud technologies and understand how they are driving change for ways that developers conceive, build, and operate systems. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations.Key job responsibilitiesOwn the global editorial content calendar. Create, plan, write and edit content calendar for a wide range of projects, such as websites, blogs, videos, case studies, white papers, and other marketing initiatives.

Work with the Global and regional Developer Relations teams and develop an effective global messaging strategy to target specific markets.

Define the content types and topics that maximize audience engagement. Research current trends and keywords and contribute to content idea generation.

5+ years of relevant work experience in technical documentation writing, marketing communications, and/or digital/high-technology companies/products.

5+ years of experience in managing web properties, website design, and/or website analytics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProven ability to develop and manage content programs through the entire project lifecycle, including strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and maintenance. Example content programs include content audits and migrations, content strategies, optimized web content development, and integrated content marketing programs that may include email marketing, social marketing, influencer marketing, etc. across multiple channels and platforms.

Experience working with internal stakeholders to develop content program plans, creative briefs, and professional communications.

Proven success managing and delivering content programs with a data-driven approach, and overall experience applying those capabilities within different web environments, such as content management systems, marketing automation systems, and social media apps.

Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while managing multiple, often fast-paced projects simultaneously.

Strong team player with the ability to successfully collaborate with geographically distributed teams.

A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
