Sr. Oracle Enterprise Administrator – Oracle Product Owner – AdministrationThe mission is to unlock the complexities of bioscience and advance our knowledge to improve human health. Using an open science, multi-scale, team-oriented approach, the focuses on accelerating foundational research, developing standards and models, and cultivating new ideas to make a broad, transformational impact on science.As a key member of the Admin IT Team for the Institute at large, the Oracle Product Owner is the Product Owner for Oracle HCM ERP Cloud solutions and manages Oracle HCM vendor relationships. This role is responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts for human resources and enterprise resources planning systems, and works in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. This position will establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations. This position also operates in a cloud environment to work towards continuous delivery, understand orchestration, and leverage it to guarantee uptimeThe ideal candidate for the role expresses an entrepreneurial spirit in building business solutions and will work effectively with business units to understand their requirements, translate into functional designs, develop test cases, and implement sustainable business systems.Essential FunctionsBusiness Analysis & Product Management
  • Work with business teams to assist with documenting business requirements and process flows, and help with developing business cases
  • Contribute to an optimized support model for business applications that can grow as the team grows
  • Develop test cases aligned with business requirements to test system enhancements and implementations
  • Project manage integrations with other systems as required by the business
  • Manage and provide direction to the team and key stakeholders for the entire product lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, and closure
  • Develop and maintain product and functional roadmaps that align with institute goals and needs
  • Work with business leaders to identify business needs and develop those needs into project requests
Production Systems Support
  • Product Owner for Oracle HCM ERP Cloud solutions and Oracle HCM vendor relationship management
  • Develop the strategic plan between the future-state and current-state of the Oracle Cloud HCM application in partnership with IT, Finance, and HR leadership
  • Ensure assigned production business systems are up and running to support the business; troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
  • Maintain inventory of assigned systems including number of users and business impact of failure to assist with triaging concurrent problems and/or outages
  • Maintain documentation of development, test, and production environments for assigned systems
  • Manage/triage product backlog of enhancement requests or bugs/break fix and work within the team to develop and deliver new solutions within the application
  • Lead technology activities in support of annual human resources & finance cycles
  • Identify new features in quarterly upgrades to be assessed and implemented for HCM/ERP solution
  • Ensure integrity, reliability, performance and scale of technology platform
  • Manage and escalate functional, quality, timeline, and all other project issues
  • Coordinate project communication with all areas of IT and business
  • Ensure all internal controls and policies are adhered to for projects and systems change management
  • Ensure the technical performance of all solutions within the platform. Oversee the entire line life cycle from strategic planning to effective project management of tactical activities
  • Regularly create service improvement plans - in terms of people, processes and technology - to improve a service
  • Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time

Required Education and Experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of degree and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud ERP
  • Strong experience working with Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Technical project management experience
  • Proven success in the delivery of software development projects within either technology services or software product company
  • Familiar with various project management framework
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture in an enterprise environment
