Sr. Payroll Accountant

Description We are in search of a Sr. Payroll Accountant to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. As a Sr. Payroll Accountant, you will have the opportunity to showcase your accounting skills. Your main responsibilities will include general accounting tasks, assisting with monthly and yearly reports, and handling payroll activities.Responsibilities: Conducting general accounting tasks to maintain financial health Assisting in the preparation of month-end reports to help the team understand the financial position Preparing yearly reports to provide an overview of the year's financial activities Conducting analysis and reporting to inform decision-making processes Scheduling bi-weekly payroll activities to ensure staff receive their payments on time Performing account and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records Processing journal entries to keep track of all business transactions Utilizing Microsoft Excel and other software to maintain and analyze financial data Demonstrating good analytical skills and willingness to learn in order to continuously improve Working as a team player to contribute to the overall success of the teamThe salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000.Benefits:Medical/Dental/VisionLTD/STDLife and AD& D401k with matchPension plan2 weeks vacation12 paid holidays1 week sick timeRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary Profound knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential Familiarity with General Ledger management is a must Ability to handle Journal Entries accurately is needed Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Excel is required Experience in executing Month End Close processes is essential Broad understanding of General Accounting principles is a must Proficiency in Financial Reporting is necessary Strong skills in Financial Analysis are required Experience in managing Payroll is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
