DescriptionThe Amazon Transportation Partner Experience (TPX) Events Team is seeking a seasoned Event Program Manager to oversee our portfolio of event technology solutions spanning our global event suite. The ideal candidate is an incredibly strong program manager, able to manage multiple concurrent programs at once with competing deliverables, deadlines, and audiences. Your responsibility as the event lead will include working with business teams to identify event goals and necessary features, designing the registration and event app user experience in partnership with our suite of 3P providers, creating robust workback schedules for event builds and managing all stakeholders responsible for delivering against those timelines, running testing of tech solutions and troubleshooting issues, and working with agency partners to create and deliver onsite registration and event scanning solutions. The ideal candidate has experience leading complex and matrixed projects and has a track record of managing against tight timelines and juggling multiple programs simultaneously. This person should be detail oriented, highly organized, and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Key job responsibilities

Responsible for program management of full suite of event registration, event app, and digital platforms, from selection of vendors, through onboarding, build of sites/apps, and launch and execution of programs

Acts as the primary planning, communications, and logistics contact for event technology and reporting, and continually test, measure, and evolve event technology performance.

Lead onboarding, integration, and execution of event technology portfolio inclusive of event registration platform(s), event app, housing management software and more.

Work cross-functionally with event teams to identify, scale, produce, and execute event technology solutions, including managing full-time and vendor / contractor resources.

Manage suite of internal and external stakeholders to build seamless attendee technology experiences.

Build workback timelines across relevant event workstreams, identifying dependencies and defining key milestones. Must excel at looking around corners to identify roadblocks and mitigating risks

Partner with event managers and event communications lead to build and implement a cohesive event communication plan and ensure seamless deployment through event websites and apps.

Provide detailed status updates to core event production teams on a weekly basis

Responsible for reporting on event metrics related to attendee registration and communications.

Play an on-site event role, ensuring our 3P event tech partners have a single POC to work through any escalations, staffing issues or customer service problems

Research, evaluate, and RFP new technologies and technology vendors where required.

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Delivering cross functional/org technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

Experience managing event technology solutions

Experience developing or utilizing registration/request management systems, mobile event applications, and other onsite tools (e.g. mobile check-in, RFID, etc.)

The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
