Sr. QA Analyst

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to research and recommend new and/or enhancements to processes and tools, based not only on technical factors, but financial and cultural as well Technical systems knowledge for various applications and systems Basic understanding of data models and able to write queries against a database Ability to manage & work on numerous concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style Ability to interpret and understand the architecture and infrastructure of systems Ability to collect logs via ADB, Charles proxy, Postman or other similar tools Ability to analyze and debug collected logs, identify crashes and other errors in the logs Technology requirements: Agile Experience using HTTP Proxy tools: Charles/ Fiddler Experience using ADB/ Logcat/ StackTrace, etc. Experience with IDE - Android Studio/ Xcode Key projects: Either helping IOS or android company's mobile app Daily Responsibilities: Work experience in software application development and software quality assurance testing (5-7 years) Experience creating and executing quality assurance test plans, scenarios, cases, checklists and scripts (5-7 years) Experience in software requirements, development, and testing activities with multiple, simultaneous quality assurance efforts, and a track record as a contributor with providing quality assurance support in an analyst capacity, including tools development and usage Demonstrated collaboration on project teams and interaction with project managers, business and functional analysts, developers and the business community directly related to quality assurance responsibilities and roles Experience with reading, interpreting, and reviewing code Demonstrate test management processes and technical skills, including an understanding of manual and automated test execution and performance related tools. Demonstrate knowledge using version control and defect tracking methods, including an understanding of associated tools Knowledge of project management skills, including an understanding of project management processes and related tools Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile best practices, environment, and configuration management, as well as test management methodologies and practices Experience in the fast-paced development environment, with two-week releases Hands on mobile testing experience with iOS or Android (3-5 years); having both is a plus Nice-to-Haves: Retail experience Disqualifiers: Too many gaps/ too many jumps
