Sr Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer member of the Data Platform group you'll be building Cloud-scale Infrastructure Services and automations to manage the full lifecycle of application and database code.  Performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability are always at the core of our work. What you get to do in this role:Build and maintain on the ServiceNow Platform used to manage the customers ServiceNow implementations and instances.Develop, build, and maintain a platform for a large-scale Enterprise Application with 10,000+ physical hostsApplications focused on backup and restore of database as well as deployment of new servicesParticipate in code review practices Collaborate cross functionally with automation tools development teamDesign new orchestrations for managing the customer environmentsEnsure security & integrity of customer dataParticipate in research and design in backup and restore best practicesTo be successful in this role you have:Experience developing applications on the ServiceNow PlatformOrchestrating automation of Linux server environmentsKnowledge of private cloud environmentsGood understanding of database concepts
