Sr. Software Engineer

Description Robert Half is searching for a Sr. Software Engineer to support a construction company based in Seattle, WA. This Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting backend development and maintenance of current integrations. This position is a 12 month contract with potential to extend that is Hybrid (2 days onsite) in Seattle. Full lifecycle application development, with bias towards agile development.

Designs, codes, and debugs applications in various software languages.

Conducts software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis.

Conducts software testing, quality assurance, performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.

Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality.

Integrates software with existing systems.

Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.

Project Planning and Project Management.

Implements localization or globalization of software.

Requirements

o 5+ years of relevant Software Engineering experience

Experience performing work similar to what’s outlined under responsibilities above

Focus on middle tier and backend development.

o Technical skills:

.NET Core

C# - advanced

T-SQL – advanced

SSIS / ETL for integration work – advanced

Azure DevOps

Azure SQL

Integration Engines – MuleSoft preferred, but experience with other similar products is ok

Experience testing their own code

o Soft skills:

Independent - Ability to self-manage without hand holding

Communication and collaboration skills – this is a small Dev team that works very closely together and interacts directly with non-technical business stakeholders
