This accounting role is responsible for the recurring settlement of client cash positions. Primary responsibilities include reconciling event data with cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and processing transfers and settlements. It is a high volume, process-oriented position suitable to someone with an eye for details and a strong reconciliation/analysis background. The position also includes preparing revenue entries, responding to client inquiries, and performing credit card chargeback investigations as necessary.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconciling event data between billing, sales, and system reports
  • Reconciling cash activity between system reports and bank statements
  • Researching variances and troubleshooting issues
  • Processing bank transfers and settlement batches
  • Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Responding to client and internal inquiries
  • Ad hoc projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent computer and Excel skills
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong familiarity with accounting principles and processes
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
