And you play a part in shaping the future of the outdoors, for people and our planet.As the Supply Chain Analyst II - Parcel Operations, you will influence customer experience and support budget and operations for digital order fulfillment, based on customer demand. Responsibilities include helping a $140MM+ parcel budget for maximum operational efficiency, monitoring customer order sourcing rationale that improves inventory performance, and recommending changes, enabling choice and consistency for customer order delivery. This position influences several aspects of an order from placement to delivery to meet customer demand through omni-channels and reports on relevant KPIs. In this role, you will be part of the team supporting REI’s direct to consumer fulfillment and be accountable to execute our optimized fulfillment plans at the lowest cost to serve, including making changes to sourcing rationale in real time, stabilizing different business priorities and perspectives and insuring we use stores in our fulfillment plan. You will work collaboratively with our Strategy, IT, Retail Operations, Merchandising, DC Operations, Digital Retail, and Customer Service teams.
Monitors costs and service level agreements with internal and/or external clients.
Develops and makes changes to strategy, fulfillment options, cost to serve or process based on data analysis and/or process testing.
Navigate and report out Results Explainer / Benefits reports to give transparency to the efficient use of Co-op inventory and inform future inventory allocation outcomes.
Ensure all REI systems have correct data: Optimizer, ProShip, WMS sourcing and rate shopping rationale.
Compiles and examines business data and metrics using Tableau, MS Excel and SQL tools; Creates input files for upload.
Creates reporting available on demand to monitor the health of the parcel business
Develops and/or refines data collection and testing tools to measure and manage processes or business metrics.
Delivers verbal and written reports using MS PowerPoint and MS Word to document and present the work content
Delivers input for new systems or process requirements.
Helps in the development of new business strategies. Creates communication to educate and engage partners in project, process or change management efforts.
Develops and recommends changes to strategy or process based on data or process testing.
Bring your passion and expertise
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain is preferred.
3+ years experience in two or more of the following areas of discipline: Transportation;
Parcel; Retail Store Product Logistics; Forecast and Replenishment Methodologies;
Experienced with Order Management Systems (Sterling Preferred)
Experienced with IBM optimizer tools and configurations
Certification in LEAN, Six Sigma or APICS
Advanced skills in Microsoft (MS) Excel
Intermediate skills and experience with Visual Basic Script and/or SQL, SAP,
Manhattan Associates (WM), AS400 i-series, Tableau, MS Power Point
Flexible in one's viewpoints and supports the direction taken by
