Weyerhaeuser’s Wood Products Supply Chain organization is seeking a motivated, proven supply chain leader to join our team.The Wood Products supply chain planning manager’s role is to manage people, processes, and systems across our complex mill operations. Responsibilities include generating frameworks, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and sales and operations execution (S&OE).This role is responsible for the successful execution of planning processes that balance demand, supply resources, and align plans to business objectives. The Supply Manager leads and supports the organization to initiate sound business decisions, balancing; service, cost, inventory, and risk avoidance.The Supply Manager will lead our supply planning team, taking the initiative to identify, develop, and execute proactive solutions. As a collaborative business partner, the role requires mitigation of supply chain disruptions to ensure recovery strategies that meet business requirements. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals, strategy, and team development.This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain. There are two physical locations where this individual’s office will reside, either at our Seattle, WA HQ or the Hot Springs, AR office. We invest in company culture and hold regular events to enhance teamwork and give back to communities, both large and small, of which we form part of the fabric.This Supply Manager role is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join Weyerhaeuser’s Supply Chain team and grow within an organization that will invest in the individual.ObjectivesWe seek a supply chain thought leader/–/a champion to transform our Wood Products supply chain through cutting-edge technology tools and software systems and to drive automation and process enhancement.This position is responsible for driving alignment between our sales, manufacturing, and logistic strategies and plans, which includes:

Managing and facilitating the S&OP and S&OE processes across different Lines of Businesses (LOBs).

Owning and gaining alignment on the consensus demand plan that is driving the supply plan.

Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain

Communicating decisions to stakeholders and identifying and resolving plan variances, risk, and opportunities at the regional and system level.

Evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, transportation delays, and capacity constraints.

Serve as the point-person for escalation of portfolio and risk-related issues.

Partners with sales and logistic teams to evaluate forward inventory positions.

Manage team of planners to continually assess operational network planning assumptions in conjunction with procurement, planning, manufacturing operations andlogistics/warehousing, including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, production strategy, and cycle times.

Lead the development and maintenance of supply chain solutions that meet the business profit expectations for a large complex mill system.

Identify and implement new business critical metrics and processes that enhance measures around speed, delivery performance, and cost and measure the consequential improvement over time.

Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by implementing strategies that reducecost and safely provide competitive advantage.

Supporting the annual and strategic planning and direction setting for the planning teams and supply chain function.

Provides team leadership including employee coaching / development, performance management, and succession planning.

Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact supply chain operations.

4-year degree required, bachelor's degree in business management, Engineering, Business Supply Chain, or other related technical degree.

Proven experience (8 years) in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or inventory management, preferably in the wood products industry or a related manufacturing sector.

8 years’ experience Wood Products or Supply Chain experience in related field that includes demand/ supply planning, and customer service experience. Understanding of end-to-end planning and supply chain management.

Proficiency in supply chain planning software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. SAP Experience preferred.

Ability to use Power BI / Excel / SQL or equivalent.

Our Investment in You: What We OfferCompensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $125,995 to $189,130based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use.
