- Manage multiple major projects of high complexity requiring innovative solutions for IFE/CMS systems
- Prepare documentation of designs and requirements for VIP/VVIP systems and third party products/sub systems in support of complex projects and programs
- Conduct design reviews of requirements implementation to ensure system requirements are understood and implementable with all cross-functional engineering teams
- Support customer proposal development with system, equipment definitions and custom requirement solutions
- Primary owner of System Integration Testing Procedures (ATPs) for customer programs and formal witness testing
- Oversee the System Integration Testing results, disposition, and coordinate resolution with cross functional teams
- Report projects milestones progress to Senior Leadership
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert in customer discussions to define optimal solutions
- Supervises more junior engineers and mentors others in areas of System Application Engineering
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering degrees, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in large scale integrated systems, preferably with Cabin CMS/IFE systems
- Aircraft Cabin CMS/IFE Systems, VVIP or Business Jet systems preferred
- Aircraft system installation and wiring design interpretation
- System Integration Testing methodology
- Proficient in project planning while addressing external/internal dependencies and associated logistics across multiple functions
- Self-supervising within guidance and expectations of divisional management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable interfacing at all organizational levels, especially with customers
