Test Engineer IV

Actalent Services is seeking to hire a Test Engineer in Seattle, WA! This is a local role onsite. Description:This Test Engineer will be designing and executing comprehensive verification tests. You'll be tasked with designing, developing, and validating test setups that encompass mechanical, electrical, and software systems. You'll be involved in collecting data during testing and conducting detailed data analysis.A significant project involves collaborating with teams of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Materials Engineers. Working together to define testing requirements, align on testing methodologies, and integrate their expertise into the testing process.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of ME, EE, MFG, and Materials

engineers and research and own the component and system level verification testing forresearch hardware

Design, develop, and validate test setups including mechanical, electrical, and software

systems

Manage internal and external resources to execute on test setup development and

conducting tests

Partner with multiple design teams and deliver well documented test results on a reliable

scheduleDesired Qualifications:

2+ experience with Python, Matlab, or equivalent

Demonstrated experience with statistical data analysis and conducting measurement

system analysis.

Knowledge of mechanical fabrication processes and experience with assembly of

electro-mechanical systems

Demonstrated experience specifying and integrating instrumentation and motion control
