VCA Vineyard Animal Hospital is expanding its Patient Care Team and seeking a Veterinary Assistant!Snapshot of Responsibilities:Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Assistant or a Technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
Providing support to the entire veterinaryhospitalstaff
Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients
Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked
Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations
Keep accurate records and logs
Sterilize equipment
Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff
Client education and communication

Schedule: Full-time opportunities available, with flexible scheduling.Compensation: Starting at $18.00 –$19.00 /hour. Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
