One of our largest and most well-known clients has a brand-new opportunity for an organized and self-driven Web Development Site Manager to support their new editorial platform - a visually dynamic, immersive site with human-centric stories that bring our client s mission and values to life. As a Site Manager for this team, you ll be responsible for ensuring all pages published represent best-in-class storytelling, are accessible, compliant, and reflect learnings and optimizations. Daily task breakdown for this role can include adding captions and audio descriptions, making updates to the content of the page inclusive of all client accessibility requirements, being responsible for making sure that the content is correctly uploaded onto the platform and published in a timely manner and sent out to all of the stakeholders for awareness, using site analytics Adobe Analytics and seeing how this story is performing and where people are going and why and so kind of tracking performance across content once it is published, and making sure that all of the background, the assets, the files, the understanding of the accessibility implications. Primary ResponsibilitiesSite Management:Build, manage, and optimize the web experience as a company gold-standard of brand expression on web, in storytelling and in content creation.
- Manage publishing cadence across the team, partner agencies and stakeholders for successful, on-time page launches
- Project manage platform updates, website maintenance, and compliance to our client s standards with key partners and agencies
- Ensure site is compliant with our client s standards for security and cookie compliance
- Support WordPress and plugin upgrades - install, test and debug
- Run QA before publishing, including accessibility checks, alt tags, custom Adobe tagging, etc.
- Understanding of content strategy and publishing workflows preferred
- Basic knowledge of web design / dev to easily communicate with dev team and partners, preferred
- Act as a gatekeeper to publish web content and / or components that are accessible
- Manage web reviews for accessibility and inclusivity with the web accessibility team
- Be aware and clearly communicate accessibility file and spec needs / requirements
- Experiment and test new site experiences for inclusivity
- Ensure custom analytics tagging and tracking is implemented on all pages before publishing
- Troubleshoot tagging issues with dev teams to implement code updates for site tagging (Adobe Analytics, Clarity, O&O pixels for tracking, etc.)
- Pull insights, trends, and learnings from analytics dashboards to inform and build testing plans and recommend web optimizations
- Communicate web optimizations to dev-based on learnings and insights
- 5+ years of experience with WordPress Publishing Environment
- Knowledge of the steps that are required to pass content through to publication, like: Accessibility, metadata, tags, etc.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Accessibility advocate
- 5+ years of experience working with Security Compliance
- A collaborative, self-motivated, "always-learning" attitude
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to think strategically and problem solve
- Natural aptitude for building relationships across the team, partner agencies
- Experience with FIGMA preferred
- Adobe Analytics experience preferred
