Area Sales Manager

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Sales Team is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Southeast in West Palm Beach, FL. This role will lead and develop a high-performance sales team to achieve sales and profit targets for the sales area.Accountabilities:Design and drive the evolution of the go-to-market strategies in the area, in alignment with the Commercial Unit, to deliver an efficient and effective business; provide continuous feedback on market and customer evolution within the area.Leverage continuously increasing customer and market intimacy to develop the overall Vegetable Seeds offer and corresponding sales execution for the area, working within the Commercial Unit go-to-market strategy and guidelines.Nurture key contacts in the vegetable industry and build relationships with major influencers on the Syngenta business.Monitor business performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and overall business contribution targets.Provide high scientific, technical, and specialized product expertise.Implement sales execution actions in support of campaigns, such as Sales Area and Commercial Unit product launch strategies for the area.Work side by side with Product Development Specialists and the Marketing Operations Lead to coordinate the demo and demand generation plan.
