Job Details Division: [[divisionobj]] Location: [[filter4]] , [[filter3]] , [[filter2]] Other Available Locations: [[mfield1]] Basic Job Functions:Nucor Steel West Virginia is seeking candidates for the position of Burner Bander Production Operator. The Burner Bander included but is not limited to operations of overhead cranes and mobile equipment, material handling, operation and maintenance of steel production equipment, and monitoring of product quality This operator will support the Hot Mill efforts to become the world's safest steel company. This position is an integral member of the Hot Mill team working in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to work rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime including nights, holidays and weekends. Salary: $75,000 to 90,000 (Compensation Range varies based on experience and Nucor's unique pay for performance model) Nucor Steel West Virginia is Nucor's new sheet mill with advanced steelmaking capabilities. This is a greenfield project, which is estimated to be fully operational in 2026. The new steel mill will employ 800 full-time teammates producing up to 3 million tons per year at one of the most technologically advanced sheet mills. This advanced manufacturing facility is to be located along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV. This is a full-time position located at our offices in Mason County, WV. [[custsafetyState]] Minimum Qualifications:

One Year industrial manufacturing experience

Experience with overhead cranes or mobile equipment

Ability to travel for training, possibly for extended periods of time, pre and post commissioning

Preferred Qualifications:

One year steel or industrial metal experience

Experience with micrometer and tape measures

Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge

Prior construction/project experience

Sheet mill experience.
