Taking of soil sample tubes on a GPS-based grid with the Geoprobe mechanical augers. Taking of chemical samples on a GPS-based grid. Assisting with the maintenance of the SGS NviroCrop field equipment and offices. To contact client as soon as work has been scheduled. To obtain the original signed order form from the client on the farm. To make sure that all work that was scheduled is done Making sure that the farm lands that sample tubes are taken on, agrees with what the client has requested To make sure that all samples tubes are taken within the necessary GPS-boundaries.  Taking into account the type of soil making sure that tubes are drilled to the correct depth Making sure that all tubes are delivered to Potch site as soon as the work is done and that the relevant shp-files and information are sent to the admin department. Making sure that all equipment is checked and in working order Making sure that all Health and Safety rules are adhered to when working with the mechanical augers Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system. Taking of soil samples for chemical analysis from time to time within the required specifications Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
