Hazardous Waste Technician

Job Title: General Laborer, $3 raise after 6 months. Forklift operation

HAZWOPER certification

Firefighting experience

Loading and unloading containerized waste

Collecting samples from containers

Container splitting and dumping

PPE usage (Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel Toed Boots, Respirator)

OSHA 24-hour training (40-hour training provided)

Soft Skills

Regular and predictable attendance

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator

Flexibility with work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime

Participation in Emergency Response and Fire Brigade

Reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English

Pay/ Shift$18- $20/hr, $3 raise after 6 months.The work schedule involves a 4-week rotation with 12-hour shifts, averaging 48 hours a week.
