Laundry Supervisor

Supervise and train staff in day-to-day laundry operations and prioritizing of daily tasksEnsure guest laundry, dry cleaning and pressing is completed according to set standardsEnsure all guest requests are promptly and professionally metRecords guest and staff laundry lists accuratelyEnsure that guest supplies are in stockAssists Manager in the processing of all departmental paperworkAssist Manager in taking proper inventories and quality checksProper fillings of all laundry reportsRegular check all laundry machinery ensuring all filters are cleaned regularly and press covers are in good conditionEnsure staff are using laundry equipment properly and keeping them in good conditionAssist and liaise with Housekeeping Manager regarding the laundering of sundry guest room items e.g. net curtains, cushion coversLiaise with Linen/Uniform Room Supervisor re: processing of Linens and UniformsKeep a strict control of items sent for laundering by staff membersComplies with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policyAdheres to personal grooming and hygiene standards
