Manager - Operation ( West)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Operations team who will be responsible for administering the process of ocean freight and import/ export shipments.

• Drive the sea freight operations in the west region including Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad.

• To ensure Smooth running of the sea freight operations by way of registering & Validation, Document and delivery order management, damage notifications to internal and external parties, regular contact withshipping lines, monitoring daily reports to ensure cargo on track and delivery progress.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellence in operations & customer service

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments to meet both business and client KPI’s

• Ensure that day to day activities embrace sustainability, health and safety in the work place

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Having knowledge of Portoperations – having relationship with key authorities in the Portvendor, Shipping.
• Understanding of Market potential & requirements / customer requirements/ Organisation culture/ strategy.
• Maintaining good relationship with team members/ support staff and meeting all the requirement in terms of HR related activities/ drives
