Managing Director, Complex Accounting & Litigation

J.S. Held’s Complex Accounting & Litigation team is seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Managing Director to support and expand our capabilities within the forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services. This is a senior role for a professional with deep experience in complex investigations and litigation.As a Managing Director, you will help shape the strategic direction of the practice, lead high-impact engagements, mentor talent, and cultivate long-term client relationships across industries and geographies.Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and grow junior team members on client work and business development.Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and client service.Assist in internal knowledge sharing, training, and professional development initiatives.Client Engagement & Project OversightAble to oversee and execute engagements in a wide array of disciplines including complex, investigations involving regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services.Guide the development of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and data visualizations and testimony.Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic insight.Business Development & Market ExpansionExpand your book of business and contribute to the growth of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice.Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Build and maintain relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients.Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
