River Metals Recycling, LLC, a division of Nucor, is hiring Production / Equipment Operators in Ashland, KY. This position supports daily recycling and production operations by safely operating equipment, maintaining plant cleanliness, and assisting teammates as needed. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a team-focused industrial environment.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

Follow all company and OSHA safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards

Monitor, clean, and inspect production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and skid loaders

Assist other team members as needed to support operations

Perform cleanup and general labor duties as assigned

Maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork

Minimum Qualifications

Experience working in an industrial or outdoor environment

Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions

Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Dependable attendance and consistent reliability

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
