81281BRSenior Engagement Owner- Federal Change ManagementProfessionalJob DescriptionAs a Senior Engagement Owner, you will be accountable for building external client relationships. You will manage complex client projects in environments with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes. You will promote client value via identification of baseline metrics, key performance indicator (KPI) management, and resulting value objectives. You will act as an escalation point for client and project risks. You will direct and manage a team of associates responsible for project deliverables. You will support execution of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy driven by executive leadership. You will design, build, and maintain complex project plans based on contractual commitments.QualificationsBasic QualificationsAt least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education; including:At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experienceAt least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher educationReceipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your positionDue to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizenExpectationsWilling to travel up to 100% as neededWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedProject Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)Additional InformationApplicants for U.S.-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
