Under the general guidance of the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues.Essential Duties & Functions:Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communicationDevelop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and ReservationsDevelop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales teamMeet or exceed set goalsOperate the Sales Department within established sales expense budgetInitiate and follow up on leadsMaintain and participate in an active sales solicitation programMonitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your marketContact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage ProgramMeet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of SalesInvite clients to the hotel for entertainment, lunches, tours and site inspectionsAssist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segmentsBe familiar with all Mondrian sales policiesConduct a professional, thorough site inspect of the propertyPay Range: $85,000 to $90,000 per year
