Skybar Operations Manager

Under the general guidance of Skybar General Manager, perform all duties and is Responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of bar operations and beverage outlets, while maintaining a profitable operation and high quality products and service levels. He/she is expected to market ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.Duties & Functions:Promote bar business and continually increase database contacts via social media and word of mouthActively sell tables, promote guest lists and paid general admission guests for each eventWork with Marketing to market venue and each event aligned with the Marketing Departments directionEnsure the bar standards are consistently maintainedEnsure and promote compliance with all local liquor, health and sanitation regulationsManage and provide direction to all bar employees on the floor during shifts and eventsHold staff accountable to uphold uniform and grooming standards to the highest levelEnsure that staff receives consistent and proper communication (verbal, email, memos etc)Monitor departments performance with respect to the bars budgetMonitor and maintain proper inventory to ensure it’s in line with budgeted cost of salesSeek out and produce events to generate revenues for the propertyHold staff accountable for giving an Engaging Dynamic Guest Experience to all guests on propertyConsistently monitor quality of service and product delivered on propertyCollaborate on needs of departmental staff schedulingInstruct staff in on-going training to uphold service standardsCoordinate menu sponsorship deals and menu product placementAct as the direct liaison to the Engineering and Housekeeping Departments in regards to maintenance of the property’s functionality and overall look.Interview employees and provide input on talent selectionAssess employee performance and provide feedback annually and throughout the yearPay Range: $65,000 to $70,000
