Job Description

Short term Placement 2/3 weeks.

We are looking for a cheerful person who is experienced in looking after people post operation. Our Client who is in her 60's is having a shoulder operation and requires home help and support with her personal care. She would like to be able to convalesce in the comfortable surroundings of her home. Her husband will be around occasionally but she would also like support with meal preparation ( She has a special diet). This is a short placement for two weeks, which may extend to a third week. You will be accommodated in your own room, bathroom with Internet access and Netflix etc.

Qualifications

• Some Nursing background maybe an asset, but not essential.
• Experience with Personal Care and support with dressing
• Meal Preparation ( Client has a low residue diet)
• DBS and compliancy

Additional Information

Lesley has had a professional job in banking and is now retired. She has family, Husband, son and daughter - She will be staying on her own at the family second home to convalesce after her scheduled Rotator Cuff operation to her shoulder.

She says It would be nice to have some companionship, but Our Client is happy to spend time in her own room independently and be checked up on, to make sure she is comfortable or to see if she requires anything. Lesley would like to make sure she heals from her operation and aims to be doing some things for herself by the end of two weeks.
