Veilant is growing and we are adding to our team and hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across two critical tracks: internal product development and external customer delivery.In this role, you will serve as the central point of coordination for project plans, Jira hygiene, stakeholder alignment, risk communication, and delivery execution. You will work closely with customer-facing Program Managers, product leaders, engineering teams, design teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure that priorities are clear, dependencies are managed, and outcomes are delivered.This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who can translate business and customer needs into actionable technical work, maintain momentum across multiple teams, and bring structure to complex environments.What You Will DoProduct Track: Internal Product DevelopmentYou will bring a product mindset to internal development efforts by helping define the what, why, and priority of product features and enhancements.You will:Partner with product leaders, engineering, and design teams to coordinate product requirements, specifications, and delivery expectations.Serve as a primary point of contact for product-related questions, decisions, and alignment.Aggregate requirements, customer feedback, and product gaps from multiple sources to help prioritize core product enhancements.Draft and manage Product Requirements Documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and related product artifacts.Contribute to user journeys, Jobs-to-Be-Done frameworks, and other tools that clarify customer and user needs.Prioritize and maintain the execution team’s backlog.Support sprint and iteration planning to ensure technical output aligns with strategic priorities and the product roadmap.Delivery Track: Customer ImplementationYou will bring a delivery mindset to customer-facing work by translating specific customer needs into executable deployment plans.You will:Translate client needs into customer-specific user stories, requirements, and implementation tasks.Trace customer requirements to existing product capabilities or identify gaps that need product review.Submit product gaps to the appropriate Product Manager with clear context, business impact, and delivery implications.Build and maintain customer delivery timelines, implementation roadmaps, and dependency plans.Track environment stability, customer-reported bugs, and delivery risks.Advocate for customer needs while balancing product standards and technical feasibility.Coordinate bug resolution, deployment readiness, and stakeholder communication.Create deployment documentation, lead deployment briefs, and ensure Definition of Done and deployment standards are met.Your day to day will also be involved with:Project Planning and ExecutionDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans using tools such as Jira Roadmaps, Gantt charts, or similar planning methods.Define scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and resource needs.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and adjust plans as needed.Ensure project teams understand priorities, expectations, and next steps.Requirements and Stakeholder CommunicationClarify and communicate the what, why, and strategic milestones for each initiative.Partner with business owners and technical leaders to develop roadmaps and project plans.Serve as the translator between executive stakeholders, technical teams, and client delivery teams.Prepare and present clear updates for recurring company or leadership briefings.Maintain alignment across stakeholders with timely, accurate, and actionable communication.Risk, Blockers, and DependenciesIdentify and manage non-technical blockers such as RFIs, supply chain constraints, licensing issues, UI/UX bottlenecks, resource conflicts, and cross-team dependencies.Escalate risks early with recommended mitigation options.Drive accountability across teams to keep work moving.Releases, Standards, and Operational DisciplineCoordinate release and deployment approvals.Author release notes, deployment documentation, and project status materials.Ensure adherence to CIO standards, including Definition of Done, release processes, incident processes, change control, and documentation expectations.Maintain Jira hygiene and consistent standards across epics, stories, tasks, bugs, and related work items.What Success Looks Like in the First Six MonthsWithin your first six months, you will be expected to:Develop a strong understanding of the CIO organization, Agile practices, technical teams, delivery processes, and available company resources.Become an active technical project management leader within an Agile team.Build trusted working relationships with engineering, product, design, delivery, and stakeholder groups.Own project execution rhythms, including sprint planning participation, dependency tracking, status reporting, and risk management.Develop and maintain high-level project plans for active initiatives.Demonstrate proficiency across both the Product and Delivery tracks.Establish yourself as the reliable central point of coordination for at least one internal product initiative and one customer delivery initiative.
