- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Present innovative concepts, solutions and products, ensure excellent support and service
- Develop and maintain a sales plan outlining target customers and specific activities and initiatives that will be utilized to grow AE Business Solutions revenues
- Initiate business development and prospecting activities to create and maintain pipeline in support of assigned revenue quota
- Develop deep understanding of AEBS' core competencies and offerings across network & security, data center, business intelligence & analytics and professional services
- Demonstrate superior facilitation and leadership capabilities in sales engagements
- Attend industry networking functions, forums, tradeshows, and events, as required
- Completion of prescribed manufacturer training and certifications, as required
- Support marketing and business development initiatives
- Ability to learn and understand vendor products, programs, deal registrations, promotions and pricing lists and strategies
- Proven trusted advisor relationships with IT departments within enterprise accounts in the territory
- Minimum of 5 years' experience selling IT solutions in large accounts
- Ability to represent AEBS' offerings professionally to prospects, customers, AE staff, manufacturers and distributors.
- Good time management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for the IT industry and high level of business savvy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, well developed presentation skills using the latest technology
- High sense of urgency with the ability to address customer, AEBS staff and vendor requests in a timely manner
- Proficient is MS Office Suite
- Must have experience in a consultative, solution selling approach, in managing complex sales cycles, and selling to multiple levels within large organizations
- Representative must excel at maintaining client & partner relationships
- Qualifying opportunities, obtaining customer commitments, negotiating and closing business
- Must have strong local contact relationships, a professional presence, a high level of integrity, and a history of representing the client's best interests throughout the sales cycle
