Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Neenah, Wisconsin, United States. The role focuses primarily on financial reporting, AP and AR, cost accounting, and month-end journal closing activities. You will also be tasked with updating and maintaining the site's monthly financial statements. Responsibilities: Accurately match AP invoices and deposit AR Analyze variances and assist in the budgeting process Assist in the month-end close process, including balance sheet account reconciliations and bank reconciliations Process payroll Handle purchasing functions Assist with cost accountingRequirements Proficiency in executing Month End Close processes Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Skilled in performing Variance Analysis Experience in preparing Annual Budgets Expertise in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Knowledge in conducting Bank Reconciliations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
