Other responsibilities will include:

Provide excellent timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationships

Assist teams in providing technical accounting advice and in preparing detailed calculations in areas such as:

Revenue Recognition and related costs (ASC 606 and ASC 340-40)

Leases

Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL)

Stock-based compensation

Business combinations

Foreign currencies

Equity

Earnings per share

Capitalization of internal use software and website development costs

Be part of a team that assists clients with the accounting and reporting aspects of transactions including acquisitions, equity, and debt

Be part of a team that assists clients in preparing the financial and reporting aspects of an IPO

Assist clients in complying with SEC financial reporting requirements (10Ks, 10Qs and other filings)

Support client in quarterly and annual close processes

Assist with drafting private and public company financial statements

Assist clients in preparing for and completing audits, and liaising with the auditors

Perform data analytics to assist in the above areas

Assist clients with internal controls related matter, including design, implementation, testing and remediation

Support growth efforts through pursuits, market research and maintaining a network of peers.

Think creatively, problem solve and work independently and as a team in a fast paced environment

Perform research and expand your technical accounting expertise

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

1+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience

Must hold active US CPA license in the state in which your home office will be located prior to beginning employment

Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Advanced degree in accounting or related field

1+ years of FASB/GASB PTA experience

Up-to-date technical knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards

Good presentation skills and an ability to explain accounting issues clearly and succinctly

Prior experience in financial reporting and SEC requirements of IPOs

Knowledge of IFRS or other international accounting standards an advantage

Prior experience around SOX and internal controls

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $73,430 to $164,190.
