Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Specialist in our Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry based in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The role revolves around performing accounting operations duties, adhering to established procedures and accounting practices. Responsibilities: Oversee the account receivables system, including invoicing customers and sorting incoming checks Ensure all received payments are promptly deposited into the company bank account Manage the account payables system by verifying invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies, and requesting checks to settle invoices Prepare and dispatch checks in a timely manner Conduct bank reconciliations for checking, saving, and payroll accounts Undertake any other duties as requested, aligned with the role of an Accounting SpecialistSkills: Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing and Data Entry processes Experience in Invoice Processing and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Requirements Holds at least 1 year of relevant experience in the field of accounting Proficient in account reconciliation Familiar with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Well-versed in billing procedures Competent in data entry tasks Experience with invoice processing Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of real estate property and facilities management industry is a plus Adherence to ethical standards and regulations in accounting Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new accounting practices and technologies.
