Description Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for our construction projects.Responsibilities:Process invoices with meticulous attention to detail, including fixed price, time and materials, and variable labor rates (single/double time).Utilize granular invoicing with line items, capturing pay rates, grades, and various types of labor.Manage different invoicing and approval processes, collaborating with project managers and legal teams.Post and enter invoices into the Great Plains (ERP) system and project management software.Prepare for the upcoming implementation of a new ERP system.Leverage strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros (basic understanding sufficient).Maintain high volume output, processing approximately 50 projects per month of varying sizes and complexities.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing, preferably within the construction industry.Understanding of revenue recognition bases (e.g., percentage of completion) and familiarity with time and materials billing.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic macro functionality.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing processes.
