Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry, based in Germantown, Wisconsin. This role involves handling high volume accounts payable and accounts receivable. It offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Processing a high volume of accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently Ensuring the accurate and timely entry of AR and AP data Monitoring and managing customer accounts regularly Resolving customer inquiries related to accounts receivable and payable Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Handling customer credit applications with accuracy Taking appropriate action on customer accounts as needed Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth financial operations Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for daily tasks Adhering to industry-standard procedures and policies in all tasks. Requirements Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Experience with accounting software and databases Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
