Assemblers/Kitters are responsible for the final packaging of products for RRD customers including but not limited to medical and food-grade components.Read and follow work order instructionsFollow assembly processes and procedures preciselyAchieve expected rate while assembling customer product accuratelyFold boxes and package customer product efficientlyPerform all functions of pack out accuratelyCount accurately, watch scales for variances, and scan properlyPlace labels precisely on productWatch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being metNotify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are lowCommunicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like mannerComply with all facility safety and work rules; including, but not limited to security requirements, completion of a job costing card (white card), and following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting, emergency evacuation, etc.Demonstrate a professional manner.General housekeeping dutiesParticipate in required trainings and auditsOther tasks as assigned.
