Growing together.We are looking for an Associate Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote in Eastern, Central, and Mountain Time Zone with experience in Node.js, SQL, and with building efficient high throughput applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring claims quality and accuracy in our Benefit Operations organization. This position will be expected to maintain and build new functionality for existing applications as well as participate in driving new projects from requirements gathering through delivery.This is a remote role open to candidates in Eastern, Central, or the Mountain time zone.If you are located in Mountain, Central, or Eastern Time zone areas, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and robust applications

Write clean, testable, and maintainable software

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality applications

Translates complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

Remain abreast of new and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to help the team meet its goals

Experience working with cross functional teams

Entry-level experience with JavaScript (Node.js, jQuery), C#, and/or Python

Entry-level experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or another relational database

Familiarity with Git version control

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in computer science or similar discipline

Experience developing, deploying, and consuming RESTful APIs

Healthcare/insurance claims experience

Familiarity with MongoDB/Atlas or another NoSQL database

Familiarity with Typescript

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization, deployment, and orchestration software

Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island residents is $56,300 to $110,400 per year.
