Auto Mechanic

Wrench Auto Service is hiring for an experienced automotive technician able to flag 40+ hours per week.

The position requires professional repair experience, a high skill level and ability to accurately diagnose computer and electrical problems.

We are looking for individuals that are team oriented, friendly and have mechanical aptitude.

The bi-weekly pay is comprised of roughly 50% hourly pay and 50% commission on flat-rate flagged hours. The insurance package (health, dental, vision, short/long term disability, and life insurance) is excellent and the retirement benefit package offers company match with employee contribution. We offer paid sick, vacation and PTO to all employees and no-charge uniforms. The work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities

This position is for an A-level technician as it involves varying degrees skill in computer and electrical diagnosis, diagnosis of rattles, squeaks and clunks and mechanical repairs such as engine and transmission R&I. Our location is a full-service repair center that take care of everything automotive service related on domestic and imports, but not European vehicles. Servicing brakes, steering, suspension, engine, transmission, diagnostics, etc.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of professional experience as an automotive technician. You will need your own set of hand tools and to be able to lift over 40lbs. You will also need to test drive customer vehicles.
