THE POSITION: The Benefits and Leave Specialist primary responsibility will be the administration of EVERSANA’s Leave of Absence, Disability Program, Company Leaves and ADA Claims. This position serves as the point of contact for employees, HR Representatives, Managers and internal Legal for coordination, documentation and support in decision making. This position will participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures. In addition to Leaves, this position will administer the Company’s retirement (401(k) and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation) plans.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results for this position are achieved by:Leave of AbsenceAdminister all Leave programs including Short Term Disability, FMLA (both continuous and intermittent) , State Leaves and EVERSANA leaves, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws.Primary leave contact with our leave provider.Trouble shoot claim issuesRequests follow up and recertifications if needed.Audit leave payments and approved leave time as it relates to Company policy and State Leave policies.Process monthly invoices for Leave carrier;  this includes Business Intelligence (BI) reporting from the EVERSANA HCM systemBiweekly leave of absence reporting for payroll.Create and facilitate HR and Manager leave training.Work closely with internal legal team on Leave and ADA complianceAdvise HR on accommodation requestsFacilitate ADA interactive process with employee and manager.Provide Long Term Disability information as requestedAd Hoc reporting and analysis as neededRetirementManage annual retirement audit and non-discrimination testingPerform ongoing internal audits of 401(k) plan enrollment to ensure complianceWork closely with 401(k) external advisors to set up education sessionsFund biweekly 401(k) filesSupport plan enrollments and changesEnsure Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) distributions are made timelyAssist in annual NQDC education and enrollmentAnswer employee questions on programsGeneral BenefitsAdminister Paid Time Off Plans – work with HR to ensure proper complianceCross train with Total Rewards team in Health and Welfare benefits administrationAd Hoc Reporting and benefits analysis as neededAll other duties as assignedReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:Travel (Local travel as needed – a potential to travel two times a year to a differing EVERSANA location)Hours (40 hours per week, M-F; this job will be required to work additional hours as projects and/or needs arise for the business.)The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above.
