Job Title: BookbinderJob DescriptionAs a Bookbinder, you will be responsible for setting up and controlling the assigned machine for each job specified. You will maintain the machines' regular maintenance, ensure the machine is ready to run the product, and keep a clean and neat work area. You will check and control the quality of the product on a running basis and manage and direct the Technicians to use the proper material to maintain a high level of productivity.Responsibilities

Run the machine at optimal production speeds relating to the specified goals set by the Bindery Manager or Supervisor.

Seek assistance when necessary to solve setup and running problems that may cause slower production speeds.

Provide feedback to management and supervision when slowdowns or issues occur on machines.

Participate in regular evaluations of Technicians as needed.

Perform all special duties assigned by the Bindery Manager and/or Supervisor.

Perform all duties safely and in accordance with all safety rules and requirements.

Maintain a positive customer relations approach towards visitors, customers, and employees.

Essential Skills

Experience with stitching and/or bindery machinery (at least 1+ years prior experience).

Ability to utilize logic and conceptual thinking skills.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Effective and clear written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to work weekends, overtime, or be responsive to manufacturing questions as needed.
