Our client, is looking for a Business Analyst professional. The position will be assigned to a technical project that includes vendor product configuration and deployment, application development, infrastructure updates, and collaboration with our Divisional partners to meet high-visibility program needs. This resource will work on various projects across the agency. This position will work closely with project teams and business users to identify business problems, translate business requirements into technical requirements, and recommend solutions. Tasks
- Evaluates software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to DOJ standards and best practices
- Responsible for drafting system/failover test plans, leading the testing and troubleshooting for new applications, and application changes.
- Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with experience in the field or a related area. – 6+ years
- Experience creating business process mapping, process flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, user stories, RACI’s, and requirements traceability matrix.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical users to explain IT solutions.
- Experience with system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing & post-deployment verification planning.
