Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry.Program Dates: June 2, 2025 to August 22, 2025.Position Purpose: The DB&T Business Applications Analyst Intern primary role is to assist the Director of Digital Business & Technology Partnerships, project managers, and resource managers from CORP domain to plan, execute, and track projects according to our project management methodology. The Intern will work on analyzing and assessing corporate functions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing and implementing strategies to enhance business performance. We will also expect the person in this role to manage portfolio tracking and track critical items. This is a great exposure with outstanding learning opportunity for anyone who wants to launch a career in business analysis, IT strategy, and/or project management in the future.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Director of Digital Business & Technology Partnerships to analyze and assess corporate functions, including finance, human resources, marketing, and operations.Develop a deep understanding of the company's goals, values, and objectives, and use this understanding to inform strategy development.Conduct market research and data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address business challenges and opportunities.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make recommendations for ongoing improvements.Understand the business context and business objectives of the project.Works with Product/Business Owners, Project Management and Technical Staff to perform analyses related to the implementation of new or revised business processes and/or new or enhanced internally developed software or third-party vendor software.Drafts initial requirements and breaks down larger scope into smaller pieces if needed.Gathers and documents functional business requirements to be consumed by the business and technical teams for non-custom development projects.Proactively manage changes in projects under his/her purview. identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.Define and measure success criteria.Perform lessons learned at the end of his/her internship.Work with servicedesk for his/her project for support transition.Coordinate user authority assignment with local user authority managers.Assist in the development and maintenance of standard procedures and best practices for system use.Assist senior project manager and DB&T partner in producing KPI’s related reporting.Attend internal training to increase IT business analysis, project management, and strategy knowledge.
