Summary:The Business Intelligence Advisor is an experienced BI developer on the IT Data and Analytics (DNA) team. This individual is a technical resource responsible for working with senior level stakeholders throughout the business to gather requirements, define solutions and deliver business insights and customer reporting. The BI Advisor leads the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of Business Intelligence Applications within the environment, as well as the on-going support and maintenance of existing Applications already deployed. Works closely with Business Stakeholders to gather information about Application needs, objectives, functions, features, input, and output requirements Executes the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions and customer reporting. Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, reporting, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs Conducts analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and documentation of BI Applications Writes and maintains technical specifications Works with the Digital Innovations (DIN) team to appropriately capture and store key data points Delivers BI Application solutions and monitors performance after implementation Abides by and Enforces all organizational policies and procedures. Works well within a small team environment which encourages participation in all facets of solution design and delivery. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of data analysis, analytics and data programs. Participates in strategic & tactical planning discussions Mentors less experienced DNA team membersRequirements:

  • Expertise creating dashboards in Power BI, including use of power query and DAX expressions
  • Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
  • Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools/SSMS
  • Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Project Management Methodology (Agile)
Education & Experience:Requires Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field and at least 4 years of related experience. This requirement can also be met with a High School diploma and equivalent and 8 years of related experience or an Associate's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of related experience.ESPO CorporationWillowbrook, IL 60527
