Responsibilities and Qualifications:
CVT required
Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed.A highly qualified applicant will have experience inanesthesia monitoring and recovery includingEKG, SP02, and Doppler equipment,performing sterile scrub, andassisting doctors throughout a variety of surgical procedures.
Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
Excellent communication and organizational skills -Handle manyaspects of client communication with regard to informational calls, client follow-up, and general questions about their in-hospital or at-home pet’s status. Neurological disease can be difficult for clients to understand. Compassion, patience, professionalism, and kindness to all clients whether in person or on the phone, is a must.
