ENTRY LEVEL CHEMIST OPENING Must be open to 3rd shift M-F 11pm-7amMUST HAVE

BS in Chemistry or BS in Hard Sciences

Experience in HPLC

Experience in GC (gas chromatography)

Description:

Conduct routine analytical chemical testing on products submitted to the lab, this includes analysis of raw material, in-process batches, finished goods or bulk samples, water samples, cleaning samples, stability samples, etc

Conducts specialized analytical testing as directed by the Laboratory Manager, in support of development projects, new products, method troubleshooting or as part of Out of Specification investigations.

Properly documents all results according to Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instructions and reviews the work of other laboratory personnel as required.

Learn and practice all aspects of laboratory instrumentation, gas chromatography (GC), High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, FTIR, etc.

Conducts analytical work in support of cleaning validations and engineering trials.

Compile and summarize data, when required.

Performs general housekeeping and glassware cleaning.

Communicate (verbally and written) with management, coworkers, suppliers, and customers.

Performs other assignments as requested by the Lab Manager.

Maintain and promote strong work ethics and uphold all KTP policies and procedures.
