Setup and operate a CNC lathes in a non production work environment to support a variety of industries that include military, power generation, and mining.

Materials are often steel or aluminum ranging from 3”-20” diameters.

Most runs are 1-5 pieces with tolerance of .001”

salary: $52,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathes (2-4 axis) to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and quality in machining processes.

Write and edit G-Code and M-Code programs for CNC machines.

Perform manual machining tasks as needed to support production requirements.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

Use CAD/CAM software to design and optimize machining processes.

Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Haas and Okuma machines.

Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.

Preferred Qualification:

Proven experience as a CNC Tool Room Lathe Machinist.

Knowledge of GD&T and CNC tooling.

Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.

Solid manual machining skills.

Experience with CAD/CAM software.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
